Maciej Garbień, specialist surgeon, graduate of the Medical Faculty of the Medical Academy in Wroclaw. Specializes in varicose veins treatment of the world’s most modern laser method EVLT (endovenous laser treatment). Performs Doppler ultrasound of lower limb veins. Dr. Garbień performs a number of procedures: inguinal hernia repair using TAAP and TEP laparoscopic methods as well as the Lichtenstein method using the most modern BARD grids in the world.
Dr Garbień acquired experience training in Brussels with Dr. Tim Tollens, a world-renowned surgeon, an expert in the treatment of hernia and working in the London Clinic MyMedyk. Since 2014, he has been cooperating with the “NA GROBLI” Private Polyclinic, where he conducts surgical procedures of lower limb varicose veins, inguinal hernia, abdominal and umbilical hernias using laparoscopic and classic methods. He carried out about 500 surgical operations of varicose veins of lower limbs using the laser method – EVLT.
In 2009 he obtained the academic degree of the Doctor of Medical Sciences in the field of General Surgery. Dr Garbień graduated from the Medical Academy at the Faculty of Medicine in Wroclaw in 1998. He completed a postgraduate internship at the Railway Hospital in Wrocław under the supervision of Dr. D. Durk, MD.
