A dental bridge fills in a gap caused by one or more missing teeth. A typical dental bridge consists of crowns that are placed on both sides of a gap and a false tooth or teeth that replace the missing teeth. The false teeth are made from various materials, such as gold or porcelain. Unlike removable dentures, a dental bridge is fixed permanently, as it is anchored to the teeth at one, or both, sides using metal bands supported by resin or cement. If well cared for, a dental bridge should last for 10 up to 15 years. There are many different types of dental bridges. The type of a bridge is individually adjusted by the dentist after a consultation and depends on the teeth quality on either side of the gap, as well as the position of the gap.
Please, note that the final results depend not only on the surgeon, but also the anatomical conditions of the patient and healing process.
If a patient is not satisfied with the results from the surgery and from the medical point of view there is a possibility to correct it, we offer corrective procedure free of charge. However, the patient needs to pay for flights, accommodation, etc. on his/her own.
